In line with our church vision to love people and "walk with them through the affairs of life," the prison outreach's goal is to show the inmates that God loves them and has a better way of living for them. We desire to equip the women a working knowledge of the word of God that they may apply to their lives. Our aim is to have them comfortable with who they are in Christ, how to operate in faith and that God does hear and answer their prayers. We accomplish this through solid foundational teachings and in power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit.

The prison ministry team goes to the Topeka (Women's) Correctional Facility an average of two to three times per month. To become part of the team, church members must complete a volunteer training program operated by the Kansas Department of Corrections. Once they have completed the training, volunteers keep their certification by attending annual training at the Correctional Facility Training Center in Topeka.
